archives, I came across a number of threads where folks discussed
shipments that were seized. Memphis comes to mind. :( Since I came a
bit late to the table, I haven't written to the FDA because it seemed
that the "docket" was no longer active... I didn't find anything on
it when I searched, although I did see the original order giving
customs agents discretionary powers to seize shipments of henna, and
that's obviously not something I agree with. So I second Lauren's
question. I'd be only too glad to write the FDA if it's still a
worthwhile thing to do. And in a way, I guess I'm answering my own
question. Because it IS a worthwhile thing to do, even if my letter
is heading straight to some bureaucratic round file.
