Used to happen to me all the time

hole is too small to use, right? There are two ways to avoid this.
You can put a piece of tape around the tip with the center of the
tape at the seam. This will stabilize the hole and give you a little
more support to the tip, which I found I liked. Also put a small
piece of Scotch or other plastic tape near the tip on the inside
seam. Or you can get carrot bags. I liked making my own cones, and
it's a very useful skill when Something Goes Wrong with what you're
using, but having them premade was well worth the few cents extra I
pay for them.
: I make my own cones out of heavy plastic and I am having a problem
: with the tip closing after some use. Usually at the wrong time
: I am doing a design on someone other than myself.
: Anyone have this problem? I am considering using pastry tips but
: wondering if anyone had any ideas why this is happening?
: Many Thanks,
: Tracey (dolci)
