: Hi everybody!
: Can anyone tell me if terped henna left on the skin longer, for
: example, overnight, will take longer to fade?

I have no scientific proof of this just anecdotal evidence, but that
seems to be the case, that terped henna, when left on the skin
longer, takes longer to fade. I usually henna in the evening and
just wrap it up and sleep on it and I usually get stains that last
3-4 weeks.
: Also, if I leave the terped henna overnight, and as soon as I
wake up,
: I take a shower, will this effect the oxidation process, and
: the stain will not be as dark as it could have been if I would've
: waited another 10 hours before having the skin come in contact
: water?

Again, i have no scientific proof but I don't think water makes
much of a difference unless that water is chlorinated. I usually
just wake up, unwrap and then jump in the shower to remove the
henna paste...I am usually too impatient to sit and pick it off and I
also don't really like that sticky feeling that is left after I pick it off,
so I end up washing my hands anyway.

I hope this all helps.

p.s. glad the tips are working out!
