Okay, I am just starting out quite recently, so I haven't tried a
bunch of recipes. It seems like everyone has their own idea for
that.
Here's what I've been doing. I usually make a batch of 50g of
powder, mix in enough lemon juice (is lime better, or liquid from
boiling dried limes, and should the juice be room temperature?) to
make cookie dough consistency.
Then I've ben adding tea-tree oil (probably not enough) should I be
adding quite a bit, mixing it with a carrier oil and should I be
adding it later on in the recipe?
After adding the oil, I've been waiting about 20 minutes and adding
enough liquid (made from black tea, clove powder, and a little sugar-
should I wait for the tea to cool before adding it?) to get a
toothpaste consistency. I cover this and leave it overnight.
I seems to work okay, but I've recently gotten some fancier powders
and I don't want to waste them using the wrong recipe.
Should I NOT terp the Kimia if I want to keep it red?
Is Cajeput oil stronger than tea-tree oil?
I have a very dear friend who is pregnant and is also a black
woman. I would like to do her belly for her. Should I use unterped
henna? Would lavender oil be safe? Would the Kimia show up nicely
on her skin or should I use a browner staining powder? Thank you
all for the tips. They are much appreciated.
Erika
