Mistake... and ugly/strange results

First, let me say that this is my first henna "accident". :)

Recently, I used MDH with my usual brew (lemon, lime, cloves, tea,
coffee, tea tree) but I must have wrapped it a little too soon
because when I took the wrap off I had this horribly smudged stain on
my finger. It was traffic-cone-neon-orange (which would have turned
dark brown I'm sure).

I tried just about everything to try and get it off (exfoliating
scrub, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, nail polish remover,
etc.). Bad idea. One of those things must have reacted with the henna
weirdly. The stain stayed on my finger for 2+ weeks and never changed
from that traffic-cone-orange colour. Yuck.

I think it must have been one of those things I'd used to try and get
it off because other places where I didn't try to wash it off
continued to a brown colour.

So I was wondering if anyone has ever had "normal results" that came
out bright orange and long-staining, or if it was really the stuff I
used that prevented the colour from changing.

:)

Maeve
