Hi Lauren,

It just didn't stain as well (on me) as the Ojai Body Arts or Kenzi's,
with the same recipe, treatment, etc, and all throughout the life cycle
of the batch (I did both hands and some on a foot as well). The color
was brick red with nothing darker (except the spots I went over twice).
And no, I'd *never* store my henna near a radiator! I keep it in the
fridge, sealed from light, ALWAYS. Learned that lesson very early on
with "why hair henna doesn't stain the skin" - long before I ever
called myself a professional.
It did last a long time though, in that orange-can't-scrub-off way that
terped hennaes seem to...no memorable color to begin with and slow
demise.
thanks,

Anne

: I had a bunch of samples of various hennas to give out at Sirius
: NYC. A while back, Anne posted that she had gotten "forgettable"
: results with one of them, the Maghriba from Morocco. I have been
: using the same batch on myself and others frequently and have been
: selling it and gotten feedback, and it has always stained really dark
: and lasted a long time. I am wondering if any of the rest of you who
: had samples of this henna (or the others) had similar results to
: Anne. I want to track down what made Maghriba perform so out of
: character. I am wondering if maybe it was too close to the radiator
: in the apartment or something.
: Lauren
