talking about black henna in my last visit and that it is definitely
cropping up because the tourists are asking for it. It's really too
bad because the neqashas will suffer for it as well. Maybe we can
convince the neqashas not to give in to this, educate them so they
can educate their clients.

Most of these neqashas who hang out in the main square of Marrakesh
have nasty stuff in their pastes like kerosene or lighter fluid and
don't tell the client what's in it. I stay away from these and get a
family neqasha to do my henna. They will usually ask you if you want
it with our without the nasty stuff. They seem to be aware that the
nasty stuff is indeed bad for the health and give you the option.

I heard quite a few references to the cement method while in Morocco
and most people seemed to know that it's harmful to the skin.
