An overnight wrap certainly helped push your henna to its best ... and
the body heat and perspiration of playing tennis would have helped
oxidize it to a lovely black! Sweat has enough ammonia in it to do
wonderful things to henna!

That spot on the back of the fingers where the henna didn't happen may
just be thin skin. I had one of those last week, and though I went
over it several times, I just couldn't get a stain. Henna likes
thickened keratinized skin.
