E saw my henna today (henna powder courtesy Catherine; Castle Art
which I'd never before worked with, but like! My fingertips are
deeeeep burgundy with a hint of plum!!) er, as I was saying- E saw my
henna and asked when he got his (this is in contrast to Kenneth who
runs from my 'voodoo' haha). I told him whenever he was ready and he
explained what he wanted- both hands and to the wrist- woohoo! Then,
I was telling Ina about the story here and she said she would commit
to The Cause. And *then* the chick at Lane Bryant saw my henna and
asked questions about having hers done. She's very light skinned, but
an array would look great in my porfolio, lol. Looks like your timing
on this was quite synchronous!

: Yes, thank you both for adding the voice of your experience on
: And thanks for the addition of the picture Catherine. You know...a
: picture is worth a thousand words still holds true.
: What a wonderful and valuable piece of work undertaken to research
: and document aspects of henna in Africa. I am imagining that will
: take some time. Perhaps by then I can catch up with my money and
: Efran's and Alex's book. I am sure I will be able to get them in
: June since I think I took care of all of my graduation gifts and
: wedding presents this month.
: Back on subject. I know that I will have to add to my FAQ section
: my website information related to this subject and obviously add
: pictures of henna stains on people of color as well. I want people
: color to be very clear that they can get fabulous fabulous fabulous
: stains. And if for some reason they ain't the skin...its
: the powder, paste or process.
