Do you have Hello Kitty stores? By that I mean stores that sell
the large array of products from the San Rio corporation (see link
below); their biggest line is Hello Kitty in every form, including but
not limited to stickers, notebooks, pencils cases, bandaids,
mirrors, organizers and...mylar wrapping paper! These stores
are usually populated by young teenage girls, mostly Asian.
Here in NYC we have probably 30-40 of these stores, 98% of
which are in any one of the various Chinatowns. There is one in
Times Square as well: a Hello Kitty superstore. The mylar
wrapping paper is sold in very thin long rolls, usually about 1 cm
in diameter.

Nick and I had a good time shopping for mylar paper, finding
some great psychedelic green stuff and also some rolls of new
San Rio characters: Pucca and Menu!

I see Catherine is bringing you mylar but even so take a visit to a
Hello Kitty store, if only for anthropological interest. The whole
experience is mind-altering!
