Re: My granny´s last will

I don't know if this would be a totally inappropriate thing for your
family to do or not, but when reading your post I thought to myself
how marvelous it would be to have a tape of your granny's voice,
telling her henna story (or 2). It would leave you with a record of
everything she said, just how she said it, and allow you to
concentrate on hennaeing her instead of trying to both henna AND try
to remember everything she tells you.
Also, having a tape of her voice, even when the day comes that she is
gone, may be a real source of comfort to you as well. I agree with
CCJ's sentiment, it is right to cry when we lose the regular contact
we have with those that we love. But, it is right to smile and
rejoice with the dying to celebrate the life that they lived, and not
just focus on how they die. Your memories of your granny will always
be inside you, and probably will always effect the person you are --
be that with henna or other aspects of your life.
Although I would never know her, your granny's life has touched mine
as well -- and will touch many many others, for as long as you
continue to spread the word of henna. She has had a more powerful
impact on this world than even *she* might understand, and for that I
honor and thank her for all that she has done.
I hope every minute she has is filled with comfort and the joy and
love of her family, children, and grandchildren all around. I can't
imagine a better way to make her feel better than to henna her. That
may indeed help bolster her and give her strength to live on, or
perhaps instead give her the strength to know it is time to cross
over. If she is suffering greatly, perhaps she feels it is her time
Anyhow, all I'm trying to say is please tell your grandma that
although she doesn't know me, I am honored to have known of her.
