Another possibility is polypropylene. The use I know it from is in
scrapbooking or journal making. Canson makes sort of envelopes out of
it that you can use to cover a journal/scrapbook page and still see
through. It's slightly heavier than plastic sandwich baggies, more
like the ziplock freezer bags, but has more.. umm.. stiffness to it.
It makes really nice cones. I bought some that were too small for the
journal I had and completely forgot about returning them, so, after
the brownie bag experiments (just found a new box of brownies,
yippee!) went scrounging around the house for any possible cone
material. My dad drew the line at his RC Hobby materials. Heh.
