Hehehe...no booth bitch? why not....surely you are going to spend as
much time talking to them and giving them a ticket....i would way up
the cost and think of it that way.

How we do it at the studio...person talking - artists painting. the
turn around is much much quicker hence larger cash flow. :)

never underestimate the booth bitch :)

: Your festival sounded great Kenzi i wish there where more like
that
: here.
:
: Henna is popular in the UK but not it seems as it is in the USA.
: People are facinated when they see my hadns etc and ask what it
is.
: Some cultured beings even know when i say its henna but the
majority
: are heathens.
:
: Don't get me wrong once we start at a festival most of the time we
: don't stop and we can get through a whole load of people (more
this
: year due to terps). However the henna trend here is more on
peoples
: upper arms, shoulders ankles and the favourites are the lower back
: and stomach. Sometimes but only very rarley do we get someone who
: wants a hand or a foot doing and then it is mostly a simple vine;
at
: a guess it would be 1 in 50.
: Chinese Characters, Tribal, Mythical, and flowesr are by far the
most
: popular in that order.
:
: We get all the usual questions ALL the time
:
: 1 Does it hurt
: 2 How long does it last
: 3 Does it come in any other colour
: 4 Do you have black henna
:
: We answer them as polite as possible and get on with the job in
hand.
: It ammuses me that people get miffed when we announce that we are
: taking a break to have some lunch as if we don't have the right to
: stop and should be a martyr to the cause. This year we are
thinking
: of giving raffle ticket numbers out to stop pushing and shoving.
: A 'booth bitch' is not possible (unless i am premenstral of course
: LOL)
:
: This year will be very hard for us i feel as Isis is 21 months old
: and wants to be off. Last year she was still a baby and was easier
to
: handle. I cannot leaver her behind as she is still dependent on me
: emotionally and physically (she is breastfed still). Our other two
: children wil be with us as well they are 7 and 4 so they can keep
her
: busy for some of the time. We'll just have to see how it all goes.
:
: Just a liitle bit of info for you
