I found my terped henna with the Triple Terps Cajeput, Ravensara and
Tea Tree did darken a little but after the 3rd or 4th day after being
on and it seemed more solid then.

The henna on my wrist darkened more than the henna on my hand and it
was noticeable. I have never had wrist henna darken that much more
than the hand. However it never went near black or even a dark

The terped henna seemed more durable to light washings than my
regular henna. Usually I wash my hair a few times a week and
sometimes every day. This week I waited until Friday. The henna took
a beating from my shampoo as usual. It faded out and in some places
it faded off. It came off clean the henna was gone and completely
clean skin underneath no orange or even light brown stain!
This is the result I often had many years ago when first hennaing and
usuing a Rani Cone. I always wondered why their paste seemed so dark
so quickly.
I'm happy the stain can come off clean so I don't have to go around
with half oxidized blackish stains mixed with bright pumpkin orange
and then have to explain to people the fadeing proccess and why my
henna isn't dark and how it comes off.

To make sure the terped henna wasn't stale I tried hennaed someone
else with it and I'm waiting to see a picture. The lady called and
said she loved the stain on her palm and it darkened the next morning
to a lovely burnt seina crayon. I laughed because she seemed
surprised as the henna was orange when she took it off. She said it
continued to darken throughout the day.

So the exposure to air has not hurt the terped henna as much as I
thought. I'll post more as I find it.
