: can henna tatoos cause cancer? I have heard they can, and my mom

: let me knoe as soon as possible, and i'll be a happy camper.

Traditional, natural henna, that stains the skin reddish brown is
SAFE, and is NOT going to cause cancer. Henna is one of the safest
things you can possibly put on your skin (according to material
published in medical journals). "Black henna" made with PPD black
hair dye is potentially dangerous! Please see the website linked
below, particularly the sections at the bottom about "black henna".
Avoid that stuff, and enjoy the natural, traditional henna!
