Lately I had a very good luck with a white muslin for a tapestry I
have done. I had a bit of an issue with henna being too thin and
blotching out the details, but I know how to solve that problem. I
am going to attempt a few trial and errors including washing this in
a washer with laundry detergent to see how well it stains. I have a
beautiful brown color from it (used Morrocan henna terped with
Eucalyptus and raw lemon juice). Once I am done with my first
product, I will get pictures and post, but I think that I have gotten
some really good results. Of course, the colors aren't as vibrant
and layered as Catherine's silk painting, but I can't really afford
the raw silk so I thought I would try the muslin.
