Always glad to plug you and Amy. Explained the differences in yours
and CA powders to people and the color variations from different
harvests in different countries. Then they ask..."what are you using
right now"....slightly perplexed look on their face when I say..."I
had both kinds in the freezer so I mixed them together"
Sheesh I mixed them together a while back. And what I was using was
thawed paste on top of that! I do like the mix of powders. It's had
to have been a year since I ordered from you also, but storing the
powder in the freezer and then the frozen paste too. I am finally
out of your powder {should be placing another order soon}. I tend to
hoard your powder...use if for

As for canopies/tents...
I have a 10x8 backyard gazebo {tinkertoy construct kind}. There's no
way to stake it into the ground and the top is a pain in the butt to
put on. What I liked about it was the arched roof, then I can drape
fabric and make it look more tribal tent-like. But the construction
was just unbearable.
I have done the last 5 shows or so doubled in my friends booth.
Since it's just me, I don't need a whole lot of room, and people have
been very good about waiting or coming back. No one ever picks
designs that are too time consuming at an event anyway. Quick fix
and then they are gone. Anyway, I am getting off track...
the craft canopy construction is the best for weather they just take
longer to set up. Once you get it down to a fine art, it is easier
than the gazebo style tho. I did the retail county fair circuit w/
my former boss and she uses that style. She sets up in a 20x20 space
most of the time, w/ 10x20 being craft canopy, then 2 gazebo's behind
that. Mammoth set up and tear down w/ her.
EZ UP's...well they are ez to put up. But dust devils will kill ya.
They do come with stakes, and you can even purchase 40lb weight bags
for the legs.
I'll keep the ez up until I can afford to get a small medieval tent.
I want to create atmosphere along w/ the art.

: Sounds like a great weekend! What a wonderful feeling that must
: all that hard work and then to make money so you can do it another

: Thanks for the plug!!!
: Also, I wanted to ask you what you meant by a "tent upgrade"? My
: assistant watches in envy as our neighboring booths put up there EZ
: Up booths in 10 minutes while we are still sorting out all the
: to our gazebo. She is tempted to front me the money for a real
: canopy just to save us the effort. Any tips?
