The solution for windy days, is to make pvc pipe wieghts , buy
cheap large 5 inch diameter pipe, can be the cheapest grade, cut into
2 1/2 foot lengths. Cap one end, fill with cement, drill a hole in the
other cap and add a eye hook, cap the pipe and turn upside down to
set up cement. you can then use a bungee cord for connection to the
canopy. these are heavy, and in the desert communities, this is the
preferred method of wighting down the tents. Not pretty, but very
worth the work and easy to make. I made e
