: I've been meaning to post some pictures at some point.
: I'm having no trouble getting superfine lines with a j-bottle.
Maybe
: some others can talk about this.
: I find that with a bottle, you have to treat it with much finesse.
: Treating it like a marker and not regulating the size of the line
can
: be a problem. By working slowly with a very light touch, i am able
to
: pull lines as thin as a cone. I'll post an example, when i get up
the
: energy to actually photograph something.
: Any thoughts?

I agree with you mostly! I think you can get the variable line width
with a j-bottle simply by slowing down for thicker lines and moving
more quickly for thinner lines. To get really thin lines with j-
bottles it helps to have thicker paste that doesn't spread when you
lay it down but I find that the thicker paste means you have to
squeeze harder. I think some would find that annoying.

I can't compare it to cones because I have so little experience with
them, but give me time and I will master them!
