I agree with you mostly! I think you can get the variable line width
with a j-bottle simply by slowing down for thicker lines and moving
more quickly for thinner lines. To get really thin lines with j-
bottles it helps to have thicker paste that doesn't spread when you
lay it down but I find that the thicker paste means you have to
squeeze harder. I think some would find that annoying.
I can't compare it to cones because I have so little experience with
them, but give me time and I will master them!
