: : i have been trying that method with cones to get even thinner
: : than what i usually get. but it seems that if the paste is too
: thick,
: : the lines tend to break somewhere in between. and if the paste
: too
: : watery and close together, they would merge.
: : is there any way to make the paste more stringy?
: : hmm.......... guess i'll have to play around with it more..
: :
: That's a very good point. It does have to be a balance, doesn't
: The powder i have now is very stringy (my Moroccan spring crop,
: below) which helps. I have heard that fenugreek or okra can make
: your paste stringier but I have never tried this. Nick says that
: adding egg whites to the paste makes it really, really stringy. I
: will have to try this some day, along with my 800 other
experiments I
: want to do!!

its really wonderful how henna can actually make us all turn into
part-time scientists and conducting experiments with them, with the
aim of getting the most comfortable paste to work with, and the best
stain.. *haha*
if u need help with some experiments, juz email me.. i'll be most
willing to help.. =)
