: That's my first real cone design!!! YEAHHHH!!! I'm so happy with
: myself this morning I could just roll over and giggle.
: Yesterday I finally bit the bullet and made myself expand my
: applicator "repertoire" by using cones. (And every epiphany
: can be followed by a resounding "...We Know" by you regular cone
: users).
: Carrot bags were the first type of cone I tried. I sucked ass with
: them, and I did again at SSW, so it's a discouragement that I let
: talk me out of trying rolled cones as well.
: *Finally* I decided on giving it a shot, especially after my 1st
: attempt at an Erfan (with a jac bottle) was an abysmal, blobby-
: failure. The cone was a simple clear mylar rolled one (not rolled
: me, that will be next once I get out and get some holographic
: wrapping paper).
: YES the lines are wayyy easier to get eensy teeny tiny. This photo
: was taken this morning after wrapping and wearing the paste all
: while sleeping. You can see how it's flaked away in parts, and the
: photo isn't as clearly focussed as I'd like, but at least you can
: an idea of how the design came out. It is a (modified!) man's design
: for Rammadan. I left off the arabic (b/c I was tired, and ran out
: room anyhow). As it was, this took 45 minutes -- much longer than
: accustomed to spending but WORTH it for the discovery factor alone.
: Hopefully as I get more agile with cones, speed comes naturally
: with familiarity.
: Anyhow I was so incredibly jazzed I couldn't wait for it to turn
: colors, and had to share right away with my Forum henna buddies.
I LOVE THE MYLAR CONES!!!!!!!!! Even tho I shift the powder, and mash
it through a nylon, I am having troube getting the right consistancy
so the tip does not get plugged every TWO seconds.......I've almost
got the rolling done finally.......How wonderful to get done with the
cone and toss it in the trash.

beautiful work Alissa.....Boy I am SO JELOUS!!!
