See...now that question alone tells me what I did wrong...lol

I have been putting the paste in from the barrel. It has been rather
thick and not coming up through the tip end. I'll try a thinner
paste...though I really like it thicker like it is. Other than
filling the paste through the tip, is there a way to put it in the
barrel and get the air out? Air in the barrel works to an advantage
for a while. It takes very little pressure to make the paste flow
and at times it just flows with out any pressure on the plunger at
all. But then it reaches a point where the paste no longer comes out
and there is an air pocket in the barrel that is formidable.
