You shouldn't be making any skin contact with the tip of your
j-bottle. If you puncture the skin and draw blood you've really
screwed up and should maybe look for a new career anyway.

Blood born viruses and such are really the only concern.
I always rub the area with an alcohol swab before I apply henna on
folks to remove dirt, lotion and suncreen... and it will kill any
little buggies. If you're really worried or a customer is giving you a
hard time you could wipe the tip off and then wipe down the skin.

If there is no puncture or fluid everything is a-okay.
