Hmm...I don't really know what makes it black, it is
natural...hopefully... it does say "pure black henna". It worked
pretty well, I've used it a few times it made my hair a little
better. It's kinda strange though, it's not the darkest black and the
first time I used it, it gave my hair a very slight green tint and
then it washed out a little bit and it became an even lighter black
but that's probably just because I have light hair. After I used it
again, it was a good black color and the green tint was pretty much
gone. I got it at a mediterranean store. The brand of the henna is
NOUR.
