Sorry everyone! I thought I was hitting the backspace key and I hit
enter three times. :(

Anyway, I just saw this movie last night called Chutney Popcorn, and
henna was featured quite frequently. I won't go into details about
the plot, but the main character is an Indian photographer in New
York and she does henna at a beauty salon (and often uses the henna
as her photoraphy subject.) Many of the henna designs featured in
her photos and in the opening credits are very nice, but in the
middle of the movie in the scenes where she's doing henna, it's
extremely crude. But I liked the movie and it was really interesting
to see henna portrayed in a modern setting even though the woman is
Indian. But I did notice that they never said the words "henna"
or "mehndi". Interesting.

:)
