somewhere elsewhere on this webpage FAQs that gives an estimate on
temperature to paste-readiness as:

12 hours at 70 degrees fahr.
6 hours at 80 degrees

However, I have heard tell of nearly instant readiness with Kenzi's
henna anecdotely. The quickest paste I got to readiness was last
summer in one of those oh-shit emergencies and went from mixing at 10
am to applying at 3 pm (5 hours) but I left the paste in the sun for
spells at a time throughout the summer day to periodically bring it
up in heat, then cool it back to room temp.

: Interestingly, to get my dyes to release in just a couple hours, I
: routinely set my bowl of mixed henna in a pot of water just taken
off
: the boil. I cover it with plastic pressed down onto the paste,
which
: I have sculpted into a liitle ball in the middle of the ceramic or
: glass bowl. This goes right into the water, and I have henna ready
: for the final admixture within 1-2 hours. My stains are dark, and
: last about 1 week, due to heavy addition of EO's.
