they do it now, the application was exactly like natural henna, so
I'm still not sure what was in it, but it was certainly not pure
henna, that I do know. Either way, the designs lasted at least two
months, possibly even longer (been a loooooong time!). In fact, I'm
certain it was longer, that it was two months before it started to
fade out. It faded just like henna; you know how when you wash your
hands and maybe scrub extra hard you can get smears left on towels?
It did just that. Like I said, I still don't know that it was PPD, it
might have even been a trick something like the ammonia dip. Then
again, it could have been gasoline. I just have no idea. It was not
the apply, dry and peel in half an hour though. The only reason I
have doubts it was PPD is the application was nothing like what I've
heard of for PPD. But doubtless, in the time since then, perhaps
things have "improved".
: She claims that her black stuff lasts 2-3 times as long as natural
: henna? How can this possibly be true unless she's applying shellac
: or something? I thought a PPD design would last a week or two, and
: good henna applied correctly can last up to 6 weeks.
