In reply to: My horrible first day henna-ing at the tattoo parlor :-( posted by Jenna on June 19, 2002 at 11:24:30:I dug through the archives so I could find you my sob story that was
much like yours. Paste that was making my life a living hell for a
very VERY long time.
Everyone's given all the good advice already I think. I just wanted
to commiserate with you because I swear to GOD we have all been
Early on, I also once ran out of paste at a home appointment. I had
to drive 1 hour round trip back to my fridge to get another bottle of
paste, and ended up spending most of my day there. (Add to that the
fact that I was 2 days away from delivering a baby, as history
unfolded). So pregnant ole me, hauling my butt all the happy way back
home... it was soooo embarrasing. Luckily the girls whom I was
visiting were very laid back and understanding. In my defense, she
had said she wanted one small design. I though what I had left in my
jac bottle (about 3/4 full, not all full) would make do.
Turned out she and her friend both wanted full feet designs on both
feet. My *only* saving grace was that I had a huge batch I had just
frozen about 3 days before. It thawed on the drive back to the home
appointment, and that was that. But I've NEVER made that mistake
again. I bring twice what I think I'll need now ~ :)
Anyhow luv I hope that no matter what shakes out with this particular
parlor, remember there are still many avenues for you to tread. So no
worries, we ALL have had them along the way.
