I'm not sure what sandalwood does for the hair, though it is supposed
to be great for the skin. I think the soapnut tree is similar to
soapwort, in that it is used as a shampoo type alternative. Each one
is found in combos that are tonics to rejuvenate, soften, cleanse and
rebalance. =) I don't know that they would do anything to help the
henna, although I believe amla is used to darken hair. I mean,
they'll be good for the hair of course, but will have doubtfull
effect on the henna.
