I also wrap the fingers separately with toilet paper..usually just 1
square of TP for each finger, held in place by a bit of tape. Then I
wrap TP around my hand so that the design is covered and
secure it with a bit of tape. I got these great Chinese gardening
gloves which are made of a thick, stretchy jersey-type material;
they are easy to stretch over the hand without disrupting the TP
and tape and then kinda hug my hand holding everything in
place. You might be able to find these at a gardening store or a
chinese import store. We have a huge chinatown here in NYC
so these things are everywhere.

Good luck with your henna and dealing with corporate
disapproval. I work at a VERY conservative law firm and I get
mixed reactions; some people recognize and like it, some
people turn up their noses at it (how rude!!) and others are too
busy to notice or care! You have the right to wear it just like you
have the right to wear jewelry and nail polish.
