Darn that mylar anyway (grumble grumble)

I bought some mylar at a party store. For those of you still
looking, I couldn't find a roll I thought didn't have paper on it,
but I found mylar in sheets as a gift-bag-stuffing item in several
colors. Anyway, I rolled a bunch of cones out of it and they are
great- teeny tiny lines, terrific control- but the holes keep closing
up. The methods I used a few years ago to prevent this on plastic
bag cones don't seem to work here. Is there a secret? I keep a pin
in the hole when not using them, and if I get a clog, I can usually
squeeze it out, but sometimes I can't find the hole. I can sometimes
work the hole back to usefulness with a pin, but sometimes not.
Frustrating!
Lauren
