(Okay, once more with emotion)

100g from a neighborhood Indian market: $3.00
Another 100g bought in good faith after you open the "freshness seal"
when you leave the store and discover the powder is a dreadful tan-
khaki color: $3.00
Bottle of aspirin for your frustration after you open the "freshness
seal" when you leave the store and discover the second box of powder
is not khaki but dyed ULTRA blue-green: $5.00

(For those of you keeping score, that's $11.00 in cash alone.)

Time spent in a futile attempt to convince the Indian market to
refund your money for their pathetic henna: 15 minutes

Time spent driving back and forth to Indian market three times: 3

Time spent opening said aspirin bottle's miserable, stupid childproof
cap when you're already frustrated: 5 minutes

3.25 hours times... let's say $5.25 (US minimum wage, just for
argument's sake) equals roughly $17.50

Grand total for STILL no usable henna: 28.50

100g from a friendly neighborhood online vendor with guaranteed goods
and a solid business reputation: PRICELESS!!!
