Unfortunately, Chinese is an idea-based written language, instead of
a phonetic one. It does not have an alphabet -- each character is a
full thought.

www.zhongwen.com is a good place to start learning more about Chinese
language -- there is even a link to get a chinese name, but due to
the naming conventions in China (the family name is always 1 syllable
and is chosen from the standard 100 Chinese surnames and the given
name is always 2 syllables, never any more than two syllables.) it
may be difficult to give your clients transliterations in Chinese
that wouldn't cause great laughter among Chinese-speaking peoples...

Good luck to you in your search.
