No offense if it is, but it's just a little odd that each of the
other posts contain the exact same header "hanzi-kaishu font (chinese
alphabet)" and the text of each of the posts also follows the same
format, as it starts with "i would like to..." followed
by "because...".

But anyhow, i was getting a little o/t. But i don't believe that
there is a chinese alphabet perse, as chinese and english were
developed totally independantely from each other, so the concepts and
grammar are totally different. But i'm not sure how your friend
wrote this letter, but it probably, most likely is not with chinese
characters, as their characters do not represent letters in the roman
alphabet.
