I regularly use cajeput essential oils in my henna paste. I live in a
dry climate, and the oil and sugar are essential for henna to have
any luck staying on the skin out here. In a humid environment, that
might be too wet though.
The Shelly mehndi oil I tried after removing paste didn't seem to
make a bit of difference. Some aren't helpful and some are.
I bought cajeput through this site linked below, and have had
tremendously good luck with it. I think brand to brand there are so
many variables it's hard to make a blanket statement about "henna
oil" without being more specific. Before this cajeput I wasn't
obtaining the fantastic results others were.
Plenty of good oils to be found from many of the henna suppliers who
post here as well, so you may wish to sample a few and then decide.
