I have never had a reaction so I'm not sure.
When I use new skin and scratch it off my skin stays red from the
rubbing only 15 minutes. Unles you used a razor blade to scratch it
off or something it shouldn't be that.
I suspect that is't the clove oil that has irritated your skin.
To test this you can get pure clove oil for fairly cheap at your
local drugstore as it is used to help toothaches.
Here is a sugestion, as I am not in the medical profession or have
any experience with allergies I'm not sure how safe it is this is
just a thought.
to test for allergies in customers you could dot a tiny amount of
pure clove oil on their skin with a q-tip and leave it on as you do
when you have finished check the spot again.
if it is majorly red or puffy you know to use lemonsugar instead of
