If you want to use transfers, and want to buy supplies locally and
extremely cheaply, just try regular tracing paper with a charcoal
pencil (medium hardness). You can buy the paper and pencils in any
art supply store, craft store, or maybe even the art supply section
of a Target or Walmart.

Simply trace the design using the charcoal pencil and transfer it to
the skin by lightly dampening the skin with rubbing alcohol or even
plain water.

Lemon sugar is great, but I've found that a facial mask/lemmon juice
mix is a little easier, works great, and doesn't attract bees.(Smells
great too-I use Freeman cucumber/ginseng)Thin the facial mask down
w/the lemon and a little bit of water if necessary. The thinned
mixture usually doesn't cause blurred designs if applied when the
paste is fairly dry.

I'm really interested in trying the glitter-goop recipe others have
posted too. Sounds like a fun change of pace.

Happy Hennaing!
