I love using my parafin hand spa when I do my henna designs. I live
in Wisconsin and from October to May it can be cold as cold can be.
The parafin spa helps my designs to darken wonderfully. I do wait
until my design has lost the shiny stage, then before it starts to
crack, I dip it in, or just pour the wax over. I do wrap it in the
plastic bags that come with it. With the terped paste that I use the
wax enables it to get air, but the wax keeps my paste so moist, even
if I sleep with it, it is often still moist when I take it off.
(plus the plastic bag makes your hands sweat). I have arthritis,
which is the reason I was given the hand spa for Christmas. Works
great, it you ask me!
