I agree w/ Lauren. Keep your prices as they are...people tend to
easily forget if you lower your prices, but they sure as hell
remember if you raise them.

Lauren...
Interesting approach about the Spellstone rates. I tend to go in the
reverse. W/ the Spellstone book and CCJ's NA design book I tell
people that I'll give them a deal because I haven't had a chance to
do many of the designs in them.
Just thought I'd share

: When you work a regular job, after a year or so, you get a raise
: because you are better at your job with more practice and people
want
: to keep you there.
: When you're doing henna, you will naturally get better and faster
at
: what you do frequently. If last year you charged $10 for a design
: that was moderately challenging and took ten minutes, then this
year
: it's easy and takes you only 6 minutes, then you're only giving
: yourself the raise you deserve. I charge more for complex
Spellstone
: designs than complex traditionals because I don't quite have the
: rhythm of Spellstone yet and so they take me longer, yet they're my
: most popular book this year. People don't think about how long a
: design takes, just how good it looks, and so should you.
