The henna you did on the back of my hand didn't come out very
well either. It was on for about 4 hours in a warm and humid
day..I had to wash my hands after using a particularly skanky
porta potty. The design looks like it has faded over a week and a
half. The design that Maria (the young girl who was hanging out
with us and using my henna to practice) did on the inside of my
arm came out darker, even tho it was only on for about 2 hours.
Very strange.

For all of you reading this thread, Anne and I sat down and went
out in great detail her process for mixing henna and she is doing
it pretty much exactly the way I am. We are using the same
henna, the same lemon juice, tho our combination of terps
varies (lately i have been using tea tree, ravensara and
lavender). I spoke with Nick about all of this and he has a
completely different schedule for mixing and terping his henna
(he's also using Kenzi henna); you might want to talk to him and
try his method to see if it works better for you.
