I was also thinking she might be blowing coat, except *continually*
or for long periods. I don't have a clue why, beyond what has already
been suggested (medication, hormones, stress?).

CCj is not exagerating on that Albuq stain. When she got off the plan
on Thrusday her henna looked a day from disappearing it was so faded.
Instead, she had applied it Sunday she said! I was shocked!

You might want to try changing your recipe. If you regularly use your
Diva mix, or the same type of henna powder, you might want to splurge
on some new stuff that you know has a superior reputation for
stains. That way you know it's good powder, so perhaps change your
mix.

Also, do you use lemon juice in your paste when you mix?

: Stress and probably hormonal stuff sounds like the culprit to me.
:
: I wish I knew what goes on with henna, physically, when stress and
: misery sink their fangs in. Dogs and other animals blow coat like
: crazy when they're stressed or depressed. I think our skin does the
: same, and that would have an adverse effect on henna

: do with it. When I'm exhausted and stressed, my henna won't peak and
: the demise is fast and bizarre ..... after finals, on the trip to
: Albuquerque, I could actually see the henna fade by the hour!
: Something strange was going on.
