I know stress makes a difference, and am working hard to make my life
easier, but the universe just doesn't seem to want to make it so.
July and August are often tough for me, and a time of depression.
Not sure why...
I can't use a Diva Mix anymore because of NYC's heavily chlorinated
water. besides which I ALWAYS burn up the pan!
But yes, I always use lemon juice (the bottled kind - much easier
than getting fresh lemons every time I need to mix henna) and terps.
I do also always use Kenzi henna, but maybe can drop the big $$ to
get some Ojai Body Arts, which is about 3X Kenzi's cost but always
sifted and consistently very dark.
Anyone willing to send an unemployed henna artist some free samples
of "what works best for you"? Email me and I'll give you my addy if
you want to do so...

: Also, do you use lemon juice in your paste when you mix?
: : Stress and probably hormonal stuff sounds like the culprit to me.
