are going to think you are trying to pull something on them.
Tell them you'll have no choice but to alert the authorities. Print
out all the pertinent info and tell them to look it over- pictures
speak a thousand words of any language. Don't lie, don't buy poison,
just do what should be done. I know anyone would hate to have to
issue an ultimatum, but the fact is, it IS illegal. Despite how nice
someone appears to be, if they are willing to sell illegal mixes that
will harm people, knowingly, then, trust me, they aren't that nice.
But, being considerate, you can at least tell them that what they are
doing requires that one contact the proper authorities. Hopefully
they will take you seriously. If not, you'll get it off the shelves
(hopefully) permenantly and at no cost to yourself.
: Hi All,
: I have a bit of a dilemma and need some input. There's an Indian
: store near me that I frequent, The owners are very nice and they do
: get some good henna on occasion. Today when I went in to check out
: the stock I noticed Bigen Hair dye and another ppd product as well.
: It was on the shelf right next to the real Henna. I have NEVER seen
: any of this stuff at any of the stores around here. So I have a
: with the owners (you are all familiar with the talk I'm referring
: and of course got nowhere with them. Heres my question. Theres only
: about 10 boxes and they are VERY cheap, at $1.99 a box. Do I buy it
: all to get it out of there? It would only cost me around $20 bucks
: and they never seem to get the same stock twice, so chances of them
: getting it again are slim. Does the good of my getting it off the
: shelf outweigh the bad of putting my money into the ppd vendors
: pocket? I can't believe I'm considering purchasing PPD!!!! What do
: you all think? Buy it so no one else can or don't buy?
