Semi permanent dyes as lauren said are acid. i would've never
thought of that. But you have to be careful which colour you use, it
would have to be a complementary colour to orange, or else it would
just make the colour brighter. I'm being very general here just
because i don't know what colour your hair is. But when i had dyed
my hair dirty blond, and our family went on a vacation to the
bahamas, my hair turned ACID yellow, like horibble pukey yellow, with
alot of orange in it. And i dyed my hair purple, because purple is
complementary to the yellow orange range of colours. I don't think
that you'll be able to get any natural colour with any acid dyes such
as manic panic or fudge, but if you wanted you could get a deep red
from fudge called "rasberry wonder"(i think) and it would look really
nice and would cover the henna very well.

And last of all to preserve your colour you might want to add a four
tsp of the fudge/manic panic you a small new bottle of a basic light
conditioner(no volumizers or the like) and use that. Good luck!
