I wouldnt recommend using oils in your henna if you do do it.But
henna with lemon juice or water might work. I've seen my muslim
sisters with it, and they told me they use ashe in it. I'm not sure
how that works.
But henna CAN dye your lips. It might not look exactly like lipstick
but it will make a color change on your lips.

If you swallow a little henna it wont kill you. Henna was used
topically and orally for many centuries as remedy to different
ailments. I have never heard any case of henna poisoning unless it
had something weird in it.
