Here's my mix that I jsut used, and it's the same recipe that my
latest fan pics were done with.

Mix and let sit for 12 + hours:
4 spoons henna powder (Jamila is what I often use)
lemon juice
about 1 shy spoon sugar
3 dropperfuls of cajeput (about 2 ml per dropperful) I use the brand
Amaranthine, good oil good enough price.

Add and let sit for 12+ hours, or until use:
18 drops cardamom (i use aura cacia brand)
10 drops clove bud (wyndmere brand)
25+ drops of nutmeg

You can pretty much follow your nose after this point. you might
prefer more clove for spicier chai, or more nutmeg (like i do) for
sweeter chai scented paste. more cardamom would of course take over a
strongly floral scent, so not as chai-like.

I like to let it stew for about a day before using during summer, it
wakes up my paste nicely. House is about 75 degrees most days.
