Hi Jenna,

I've been using MDH for about a year now and I like the way it
stains. I've been using it on my brides with wonderful results. The
stain is often a dark, warm, vibrant chocolate on most though I know
some brides getting almost black on their palms. Unlike Dulhan
(Shama) or Jamila, MDH stains brown, not red.

The powder is a nice leafy green though once I mix it into a paste,
it will turn dark green or brown. Lezard's MDH paste turns a nice
shade of green, like yours. But again, I get beautiful results from
his paste. I don't know if they added dye in the powder (the
resulting stain doesn't prove that). I know that MDH is an excellent
powder and cheap too ;).

Just sharing my experience, hope that helps!

Love & peace,

~Jewel~
