I always thought something like that. It's a natural plant, what harm
can it possibly do? Cultures have been using it for centuries with no
problems... but now I work with a woman who is literally allergic to
things I never thought possible. She's allergic to raw but not cooked
fruits. She's allergic to orange peel but not orange juice. She's
allergic to tomatoes and eggs and wheat and all sorts of things.
Sometimes she spontaneously develops allergies to things and then the
allergy goes away. She was allergic to latex for a while but then it
didn't bother her as much.
