photo. I use the basic setting and it's fine. I couldn't
effectively blow my pics up to poster size with the basic setting,
but it lets me cram more photos per session onto a disk. However,
that shouldn't affect your picture quality.
On my camera, the macro setting is for things taken less than two
feet away. I generally use it for taking pictures of my own hand so
it fills the picture, which tends to be about a foot away from the
design, and it works fine.
Since you have larger designs, you have a choice about the pics. You
can either take close-up pics of each design area using the macro
setting and getting detail, or you can take larger pictures of the
whole area, which is about what you have now. Without the picture
turning out life-sized, you can't get detail in all the pics.
Personally, I'd go for the close-up as it looks like you put a lot of
work into these and you should show that off.
