He got us a box that wasn't on the shelves because I specifically
asked for it. I haven't tried the powder yet to see if it gives a good
stain so I can't say that it is stale, I was just saying that it didn't
have much of a smell. Also, the most important issue was the
coarseness of the powder. I would only buy Jamila because of
its famous fine sifting...so fine it bring tears to your eyes! That
was the main disappointment of this henna, and like I said, I
found the same thing with the Jamila I got in Jackson Heights.
The good stuff that I got last year came directly from Abid, the
distributor.
